David Walcott & Andriy Kuthma join the UK team

Andriy has over 18 years of experience in operations/logistics within the commodities industry and has covered all aspects of the Physical Trade lifecycle for various products, from metals by breakbulk vessels and containers to precious metals by airfreight, to crude/oil products by sea vessels and or rail. In his new role in Operations here at Mabanaft, Andriy’s primary responsibilities will concentrate on stock management at the various UK terminals, ensuring timely trade finance transactions, arranging Inspectors and Agents at load and discharge ports, ensuring cargo quality and quantities correspond to trade deals.

Andriy has excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. We are delighted to have Andriy on the Operations team and wish him every success in his new role.

Before joining Mabanaft at Prax Petroleum, Andriy was responsible for cargo operations utilising UK refinery barrels and various international imports into UK terminals via sea vessels and or rail.

David Walcott joins our finance team as a Management Accountant. David has an Accountancy and Finance degree and is part-qualified ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) with over 20 years of extensive accounting experience across various companies and industries.

In his new role, David’s primary responsibilities will involve assisting in the month-end accounting process and submission, preparing the Profit and Loss account and Balance Sheet and taking a lead role in managing and maintaining the AP and AR ledgers.
