Sustainable fuels

More sustainable fuels

The business unit acts as an incubator for lower carbon/sustainable offerings, scouts new technologies and leads continuous innovation processes:

  • PtL (synthetic) e-fuels innovation and future supply
  • Hydrogen opportunities
  • Sustainable Aviation Fuels
  • Drop-in biofuels
  • Other alternative low carbon fuels

We believe that liquid fuels will continue to play an important role in fuelling the mobility of tomorrow. We want to support our customers’ own transition to cleaner fuels by providing alternative long-term solutions, such as synthetic fuels.

In this video, we explain why synthetic fuels are important for the energy transition.
