The AquaVentus association aims to install 10 gigawatts of offshore wind turbines for generating green hydrogen in the North Sea. MB Energy is one of the founding members.
The business unit New Energy, Supply & Infrastructure consists of various trading offices worldwide as well as our network of tank terminals. The BU is responsible for our global trading activities and the overall supply of our wholesale markets. In northwestern Europe, MB Energy is a leading independent importer and wholesaler of petroleum products. MB Energy also has operations in Singapore and Houston, North America.
MB Energy in Germany supplies its customers with heating oil, diesel, gasoline, jet fuel, marine fuels, and biofuels. Mabanaft Limited is one of the UK's leading independent fuel importers and wholsalers. In Singapore, MB Energy concentrates on the physical trading of gasoil, and fuel oil in Asia. MB Energy Trading Inc., based in Houston, Texas, is responsible for the supply and trading of middle distillates and other refined products in North and Latin America.
Since 1972, enport by MB Energy has been a key player in tank storage logistics and ranks among the largest independent providers of tank terminal storage and infrastructure in Germany. The company owns and operates 13 terminals across Germany, Denmark and Hungary, offering a total storage capacity of 2.9 million cubic metres (cbm). With a strong regional presence and decades of operational expertise, enport contributes to the secure and efficient handling of energy products and chemicals in Europe.

MB Energy is active in ammonia trading and supply. We have become ammonia offtaker and operating partner in Gulf Coast Ammonia LLC (GCA). The ammonia production plant (currently under construction) with nameplate capacity of approx. 1.3 million metric tons per year at Texas City, USA, is expected to enter commercial levels of production in 2025.
