Guiding Principles on Health, Safety, Security & Environmental (HSSE)
At MB Energy, the protection of people, our assets and taking responsibility for our environmental impact is an integral part of our operations and part of our value-driven corporate governance.
We ensure the strict compliance with all legal and internal HSSE regulations and are committed to performing all our business activities in a healthy, safe, and secure manner while taking environmental effects into account.
We realise our efforts based on seven core pillars which are valid for the entire company:
Health
We provide healthy workplaces and implement effective health programs to promote the well-being of our employees.
Safety
We promote a zero-harm culture through proactive accident prevention and ongoing training.
Security
We defend our value chain against physical and digital threats through appropriate security measures and actively promote awareness for physical and cyber security.
Environment
We contribute to reduce effects on the environment and strive to reduce our ecological footprint by reducing emissions, waste and pollution in our operations through efficient processes and innovation.
Incident Prevention and Response
We ensure robust barriers to prevent an escalation of incidents and prepare ourselves to remain capable of managing incidents from small- to large scale.
HSSE-Leadership
We train all our colleagues so that they are aware of relevant HSSE-risks and regulations and act as good role models.
Continuous Improvement
We regularly audit and review our HSSE-processes and standards to continuously improve our HSSE-performance.
The management will visibly and rigorously support the implementation of these guiding principles. We empower our people to actively contribute to the adherence and improvement of HSSE-relevant aspects in their work environment. We expect the support of all employees, contractors and others working for us in order to make our HSSE performance one, which will earn us the continuing confidence of our customers, neighbours and the community at large.
