1. What does the bunker service include?

The bunkering service includes the refuelling of ships with marine fuels and the supply of food and drinking water for the crew.

2. How are ships refuelled?

Refuelling can be carried out either directly at the berth using pipelines or tankers or on the open water using special bunker vessels.

3. What is offshore bunkering?

Offshore bunkering refers to the refuelling of ships outside of port areas, i.e. on the open sea.

4. What safety precautions are necessary when bunkering?

Particularly high safety precautions are in place to prevent marine fuels from entering the water.

5. Where are marine fuels traded?

Marine fuels are traded via the MB Energy Group in Germany.
