“As an independent and integrated energy company, we aim to be the first choice for our customers in the transport, heating and industrial sectors. This means that, in the era of the energy transition, we are aligning our corporate strategy towards offering a flexible range of liquid fuels and heating oils. On the one hand, we are focusing on our core markets; on the other, on developing and supplying innovative motor fuels and heating fuels, such as e-fuels. The aim is to be able to offer our customers the right solution for them at all times and to play our part in the energy transition,” explains Tannhäuser.
Jon Perkins, CEO of the Mabanaft Group, adds: “In future, we want to integrate our business units and subsidiaries more closely so that we can offer our customers the most innovative products in the liquid fuel market. In Anke Tannhäuser, we have been able to recruit a proven energy expert. She has a thorough understanding of the markets, trends and customer needs. We – and, above all, our customers – will benefit from her expertise. I am very much looking forward to working with her and to shaping the energy world of tomorrow together.”
Tannhäuser joins us from the British energy company BP, where she held numerous national and international leadership roles, including Commercial Director within the European oil trading business and Head of the Executive Office for the BP Group’s global Downstream division in London. Most recently, the business graduate was a member of the Executive Board at BP Europe, where she was responsible for the Supply and Marketing divisions.
