Information for Indirect Suppliers

This page provides information for suppliers of products and services that support MB Energy’s business operations. Our Procurement function is responsible for the strategic and operational sourcing of these indirect requirements (the procurement of energy and other trading goods is not included).

The Procurement team acts as a central interface between internal stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring that business needs are met efficiently, transparently, and sustainably.

Our supplier relationships are built on clarity, trust, and operational excellence. We aim to make collaboration predictable and efficient — from onboarding through to daily operations.

FAQ

How can I register as a supplier?

Submit your application through our website. Include the completed Supplier Information Form (SIF), an overview of your product and service portfolio, and an official bank statement. Once our internal review is complete, your company will be registered as a supplier in our systems.

What information or documents are required to become a supplier?

Please submit the following documents:

  • an overview of your product and service portfolio, and

  • an official bank statement confirming the account holder and bank details.

Depending on the planned collaboration, additional documents or reviews may be required.

How long does the supplier onboarding process take?

The processing time depends on the completeness of the information submitted and the necessary reviews. Complete and accurate documentation helps prevent delays.

How do I submit an invoice correctly?

Please send your invoice as a PDF file to the billing address specified for the respective company. Only one attachment is permitted per invoice; any required supporting documents must be included in the same PDF file.

In particular, the invoice must include the correct company name, the order number, and all legally required information. In exceptional cases where no order number is available, the name of the requester and the cost center must be specified.

For more information, please refer to our Supplier Onboarding Guide.

What are the payment terms and timelines?

Our standard payment terms are 30 days net. The payment period begins upon receipt of a complete and accurate invoice in accordance with the agreed terms. Any deviations from these payment terms must be agreed upon in advance with the Purchasing Department.
