Participation in the Corona Initiative: Hamburg packt´s zusammen

Within just a few weeks, the relief initiative “Hamburg Packt’s Zusammen” was launched. By pooling their resources, in-kind donations, and financial contributions, the partner companies—including MB Energy (Marquard & Bahls)—aim to support people in Hamburg and the surrounding area who are struggling particularly hard with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes single parents, families, seniors, the homeless, and students. The goal: to pack 25,000 care packages tailored to the needs of people who have fallen on hard times due to the pandemic and its consequences. So far, more than 30 employees from the Hamburg headquarters have participated in the large-scale packing campaign to ensure that the bags can be distributed promptly through the partner organization Hanseatic Help e.V.
