Staff get involved in Make a Difference Day

Employees of MB Energy (Marquard & Bahls) in Hamburg volunteer their professional and business expertise within an international network of entrepreneurs and executives under the age of 40 (Jaycees, JCI) at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce. They are committed to running their businesses in a socially responsible manner and to personally helping to develop the local economy. To this end, various programmes have been set up across six different project groups. The annual highlight for the Jaycees in Hamburg and other German cities is ‘Make a Difference Day’, an event organised by active and former JCI members in close collaboration with social initiatives. Once a year, the volunteers use this day to give over 300 children, young people and adults from various charitable organisations an unforgettable day through a range of cultural and sporting activities. Employees of the Mabanaft Group have also been involved with the Jaycees and ‘Make a Difference Day’ in recent years.
