MB Energy launches charity grant competition: €30,000 for projects with significant impact
Whether it’s creating opportunities for young people, fostering community spirit, providing support in times of crisis or contributions to protecting our environment: social engagement can change lives. Through a charity grant competition, MB Energy aims to reinforce precisely this impact and is awarding three charitable organisations in Germany €10,000 each. In total, the company is providing €30,000 for projects that bring about lasting progress for people, society or the environment.
Non-profit organisations with projects in the areas of sport, education, environment, humanitarian aid and culture are eligible to apply. The search is on for initiatives that are already showing a high level of commitment and which, with additional funding, can further strengthen their efforts.
“Many good ideas emerge locally and remain invisible to a wider audience,” says Nazanin Celebi, Team Lead for Group Sustainability at MB Energy. “Through this charity grant competition, we want to discover new organisations and projects and give them the chance to further develop their impact.”
The three selected organisations will receive €10,000 each. The selection process takes into account, in particular, the field of funding, the expected impact of the project, its feasibility and the traceable use of the funding.
Applications must include, amongst other things, a description of the project, details of the target groups and expected outcomes, an implementation timetable, and information on how the funding is to be used. Participation is restricted to non-profit organisations in Germany; proof of this needs to be provided.
The deadline for applications is the 8th of November 2026. Once the selection process has been completed, the winning organisations are expected to be announced in mid-November.
