For us, 2023 was a year of pioneering work on sustainable energy solutions. In 2023, we redefined the landscape of the energy sector. Our initiative, the New Energy Gate, is one of the first major import terminals in Germany for innovative fuel solutions such as hydrogen, setting new standards and positioning us at the forefront of the energy transition.
Alongside these infrastructural advances, we have also made significant progress towards achieving climate neutrality across our entire business. Our commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions is not just a goal, but already a reality. This is because we utilise state-of-the-art technologies and processes to minimise our carbon footprint.
Our collaboration with the aviation industry on the provision of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) and our partnerships in Power-to-Liquid (PtL) projects demonstrate our commitment to developing next-generation fuels that support global efforts to reduce CO₂ emissions.
