The UN Global Compact calls on companies worldwide to align their activities and strategies with ten universally recognised principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption, and to actively contribute to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the world’s largest initiative for sustainable and responsible business conduct, with more than 20,000 companies in over 160 countries and more than 60 Global Compact networks.
“At MB Energy, we take responsibility for our actions. For us, sustainability means conducting our business in a way that is economically viable, but above all environmentally and socially responsible. Our participation in the UN Global Compact underlines this commitment and reflects our endeavour to act as a reliable and ethical energy company – towards our employees, partners, customers and society,” says Jonathan Perkins, CEO of MB Energy.
As a participant in this initiative, we invite you to visit our profile on the UN Global Compact website and find out more about our sustainability work in our latest sustainability report.
